2D Needle Felting: Poppy Field

Come learn the artistic medium of needle felting! In this beginner-friendly class, learn all the basics of needle felting in a two-dimensional style. It is similar to painting, but with dyed fibers and a special felting needle that knots the fibers in place. This is a guided class with lots of tips, tricks and encouragement. All levels of ability are welcome! Materials are all natural fibers such as wool, silk, and alpaca. Patience is key, and mindfulness is encouraged as these needles are sharp! Meet new people, have fun, and create a 6×6″ needle felted picture that can be framed and displayed for your enjoyment.

All materials provided: work surface, wool “canvas”, various sizes of felting needles, and all fiber. Your finished project and some extra fiber will be available to take home, however all tools and felting mats are reused by the instructor.
