Porter County Museum
The award-winning PoCo Muse (Porter County Museum) maintains free general admission year-round as the oldest institution devoted to the history and culture of Porter County.
The PoCo Muse is currently closed, but will reopen in September 2021 with an entirely new featured exhibit.
However, the brand-new local art museum of the PoCo Muse, the Montague/Urschel Gallery (known also as ‘The MUG’) is currently open to the public Thursday through Sunday from 11a until 4p.
This 1,500-square-foot, climate-controlled, fully-accessible space is presently home to “On the Scene: Selections from the Permanent Collection.” Visit now through October 10 to view this inaugural exhibit of twenty-seven works of art.
