All About Art was developed to bring in depth art experiences to elementary age children beyond their classroom experiences.Students will be able to talk to professional artists and create artwork in an atmosphere totally focused on the visual arts. It is our belief that young children with an interest in the visual arts should have the opportunity to experience the broad educational opportunities offered by the art museum, learn from and dialogue with artisans, and express themselves visually and verbally. In addition to studio work, students will be introduced to the art museum where they will have a docent led tour of Valparaiso University’s Brauer Museum of Art and a behind the scenes tour of the museum archives. Our teachers are certified Indiana Art Educators and each has been recognized by the Art Education Association of Indiana for their contributions to art education.
