Mural for ALL
Mural for ALL is a collaborative flower tessellation that reflects the creative energy of our community. This unique and colorful mural is located in downtown Valparaiso’s Franklin Alleyway where it compliments The Connective Garden mural.
This colorful mural was painted by community members of all ages and abilities during Mural Walk 2026 and fall paint parties and Mural Walk Tours coordinated by the Valparaiso Creative Council. We’re grateful for the support of Tri Kappa Valpo and Vision on Division in bringing this public artwork to life, and for everyone who helped add their brushstrokes to a mural truly made by and for the Valpo community.
Mural for ALL is a great indication of the willingness our community has in painting public projects such as this. Which is why VCC incorporates one collaborative mural each year to help engage audiences of all kinds. This was our first monumental installation mural that provided several opportunities for creators of ALL ages and abilities to contribute and learn more about this unique and accessible process.
Mural in progress
“Mural for ALL exemplifies that each piece is unique, but as a whole creates a blended formation/structure where one piece missing makes it incomplete. This is a great representation of community working together because each of us is integral and essential.”
Elisabeth, Mural Walk Attendee
Mural for ALL is a multi-faceted collaborative project with over 400 creators who helped make it possible.
Initiating the vision was VCC’s Executive Director, Jessica Corral, Tri Kappa member Linda Eyerman, and Vision on Division project manager Dan Schultz. Joined with Tri Kappa volunteers, this multifaceted group of leaders selected the color palette to mirror Felipe dos Santo’s mural, designed the official tessellation layout, laser cut 440 flower pieces, organized paint processes, invited the public to add participate, and meticulously installed each piece of the mural for all to see.
