Park with us and support our cause! \nVCC will host parking during the 2026 Valpo Popcorn Fest on Saturday\, Sept. 12\, 2026. \nLocation:\nJourneyman’s Eastside Parking Lot\n256 Brown St\, Valparaiso\, IN 46385 \nCost:\nMinimum $15 donation via cash or credit.\nAll collected parking fees will be matched to support the VCC and public art in Valpo! \nTimes:\nEnter the lot between 6:30am – 6pm.\nPlease return to your car before 12am. \nNo registration or pre-booking required – just show up! \nParking volunteers wanted for Popcorn Fest parking!\nWe have 4 volunteer shifts to help direct traffic/advertise\, collect payments\, set-up/take-down a tent\, table\, and signage. Each shift will have a Lead VCC Board member to help coordinate and assist. \nVolunteers should dress appropriately for the weather and bring water for hydration. Each month on the Third Wednesday\, participating businesses will offer their own “creative menu” including special activities\, rotating exhibits\, and unique experiences to explore during normal business hours. \nVisit any (or all!) of the participating locations below during their normal business hours. \nLower Lincoln\nFeatured quarterly exhibit of local artists is on display and able to be viewed during business hours and also on Third Wednesdays. \nRoots Cafe\nFeatured quarterly exhibit of local artists is on display and able to be viewed during business hours and also on Third Wednesdays. \nScented Science\nFeatured quarterly exhibit of one local artist is on display and able to be viewed during business hours and also on Third Wednesdays. \nNextdoor at Birdie’s\nFeatured quarterly exhibit of one local artist is on display and able to be viewed during business hours and also on Third Wednesdays. \nThe Press – Shut-up and Write Workshop\nIf you are an author or an aspiring author who needs time to dedicate to your writing\, this is the place for you. Join in on Third Wednesdays and follow The Press for more information. \nDuneland Pottery\nEach Third Wednesday\, Duneland Pottery will have special time slots for #justglaze (paint-a-pot). We recommend that you register to reserve your spot (walk-ins are not guaranteed). \nPorter County Museum\nThe PoCo Muse is excited to participate with everyone for this Creative District initiative! On Third Wednesdays\, PoCo Muse will provide an interactive “Spot PoCo Mouse” eye spy activity where a version of our mascot Poco Mouse will be hidden somewhere in the exhibit for visitors to find. When found visitors earn a special limited edition button! The current exhibit on display is “The Porter County Fair: Our Heart of Hearts” which runs until the end of October.
